From Data Overload to Actionable Insights: Mastering TrackTik’s Advanced Reporting Capabilities
The TrackTik platform from Trackforce has advanced reporting capabilities that make it easy for security companies to make intelligence-driven decisions. These features create customizable reports to not only save time, but they also improve the performance of your security team.
What are the real benefits of TrackTik’s reporting?
Security teams collect data from multiple sources daily. One of their biggest challenges is manually searching through entire portals to gather information from various reports. The real difficulty, however, lies in interpreting and effectively using this collected data.
With TrackTik, users can choose custom time frames and pull data from reports – from one month, two months, or even a whole year in one CSV file. There are a variety of options to help you gain more insight across your operations.
- Improved efficiency
First, TrackTik reporting allows organizations to find inefficiencies in shift allocations and guard deployments. This helps reduce unnecessary overtime costs, and it helps people track shift statuses to address staffing needs.
- Better use of personnel
With TrackTik, users can match guard skills and qualifications with client needs. This helps make sure the right personnel are assigned to the right locations. As a result, there’s an overall improvement in service quality.
- Smarter financial management
This helps reduce labor costs -without compromising safety. How? Reports help identify overstaffing situations and improve shift rotations. This also helps with billing accuracy, plus reduce human error.
- Intelligent reporting
With reports, users can use predictive modeling to forecast staffing needs. It’s also easier to use personnel more effectively based on historical data and trends. And – users can package it all up to present to stakeholders as proof of a job well done.

How to access the report builder template builder (webinar 5:55)
With conditional reporting, you can quickly create reports that give information based on specific conditions and user input. Having the right information makes it easier for teams to use the data to make decisions.
- Navigate to Settings > Report Templates
- Click “Create New Report,” then select your site and choose a template name
- Click on “Field Setup” and use the new drag-and-drop interface to add fields
- Available field types include: List picker (dropdown), Text box, and Repeatable picture fields
Conditional logic allows you set up custom reporting workflows that are automated and specific for your team’s scenarios.
- Click on “Settings” for your report template
- Create a new rule and name it
- Set up conditions (For example, “If Call 911 = Yes”)
- Choose actions (Show Field, Show Group, or Show Library)
- Use repeatable fields – for example, include as many pictures as you want
Tailored Incident Report Templates
To help with consistency and reduce human error, TrackTik helps you use data from standardized templates. This helps you capture all necessary details by using custom incident reporting templates.
Using Libraries for Standardization (webinar 14:49)
- Create reusable sets of questions as “Libraries”
- Libraries can be shared across multiple report templates
- Ideal for standardizing responses to common scenarios (for example, police details)
Creating Groups for Template-Specific Fields (webinar 16:09)
- Similar to Libraries, but specific to one report template
- Use for unique client requests or situation-specific question sets
Overall, TrackTik’s advanced reporting features help users create dynamic reports using drag-and-drop tools and conditional logic. Users can quickly build contextual reports, get access to the most important metrics, and customize incident templates. All of it helps improve consistency and accuracy so security teams can make even better decisions.

Four insights from TrackTik data reports
With TrackTik data analysis and reporting tools, security operations move from being reactive to proactive. Let’s explore the four ways:
- Incident analysis
By tailoring reporting and analytics to fit specific needs, users will gain a better understanding of all incidents your security teams experience. Teams can scan checkpoints and submit customized incident reports in real-time, complete with pictures and video, directly from their mobile devices.
- Dispatch and mobile patrol analytics
Capturing patrol activity data in real-time helps with better coverage, guarantees nothing is left unwatched, and helps with prompt responses to incidents. This real-time oversight not only is a reaction to situations as they occur, but they also help people proactively manage potential threats.
- Billing analytics
It’s easier to forecast revenue when there’s an automated processes for contracting and invoicing, plus a way to analyze each billing period. You can see each billing per item, account, time period and geography, and use dashboards showing sales to date, top ten clients, and more.
- Scheduling analytics
Scheduling analytics offers benefits that can improve the way you do business. Improve compliance, forecasting accuracy, and even guard satisfaction.
